About Craig MacKinder

A life-long resident of California, Craig currently lives in San Diego with his wife and children.  They enjoy time with each other creating music, competing in sports and games, tinkering with technology, and also watching movies together.

As a leader and volunteer, Craig served on the Board of Directors for the 501(c)(3) non-profit Recycling for College for three years.  He is a contributor to his favorite local charities: Feeding San Diego and Helen Woodward Animal Center.

Founder and President

Cleartech.net. Sacramento, California.

Craig was the Founder and President of Cleartech.net,  an Internet Service Provider of nationwide dial-up points of presence (POP), Windows NT website hosting, and DSL Internet connectivity. He successfully negotiated the sale of Cleartech.net to other investors.

Chief Security Officer

Bloodsource Sacramento Medical Foundation Center

As the Operations Manager of the Information Systems Department, he was also named Chief Security Officer for Information Systems regulatory compliance and served as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPPA) Security Compliance Officer.

Sr. Manager, IT

Forcepoint (formerly Websense Inc.) 

Craig directed worldwide IT operations, including periodic performance reviews, and led a team of 14 IT technicians into a cohesive group of well-respected IT professionals focused on delivering world-class customer service and quality.  He spearheaded comprehensive changes to Websense’s IT Support Services organization, including standardization of global support procedures across international offices, implementation of enterprise-wide feedback systems, and accurate enterprise hardware tagging, software licensing, and compliance tracking for more than 600 seats.  He prepared and executed process changes and documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) compliance.

Director, IT

ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. 

Craig directed global IT operations, with data centers located in the US and Sweden.  He developed, staffed, and managed high-performing teams of engineers responsible for Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, IT Support, Application Management, and SOX/FDA regulatory compliance.  He improved the security and integrity of global operations through coordinating data backup initiatives, privacy policies, employee emergency alert systems, and a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.

Total Tech Resource (TTR)

Founder and CEO

TTR was a leading IT Managed Services Provider, a B2B provider of Internet connected systems, and a provider of desk-side support for small to medium businesses (SMB) in San Diego, California.  Craig recruited and managed a team of systems administrators, software developers, and administrative staff.  TTR provided managed services with systems engineering, cybersecurity, MPLS, VPN, private cloud, Microsoft application engineering, SOX 404 compliance, and user support to notable companies including Technology Integration Group (TIG), ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, Genmark Diagnostics, and Althea Technologies Inc.  Craig led the acquisition of TTR by WP Capital Partners in 2008.

Blueshift Information Systems Inc.

Founder

At Blueshift, he was the Operational CISO/CTO/CIO for customer organizations, leading design, delivery & compliance.  He was a key part of Internet application engineering, Large Scale Data Systems Design, machine learning, data science, process automation, systems operations, data center support, and technology security management.  He created custom multi-location private cloud infrastructure collecting 3 Billion monthly data points including planning, and execution in two SOC-2 compliant, data centers including public BGP, DNS, shared storage, replication, fail-over, SDWAN, and customer vxlans.  Compliance expertise including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404), FDA-validated IT systems and Media Ratings Council (MRC).  Notable customer engagements include: C3 Metrics Inc., Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), BrightBird IT, and Soteria Inc.
